This weekend Aigües de Barcelona participated in the Novum Festival, held at the Design Hub Barcelona in Plaça de les Glòries with a workshop on raw water and drinking water.
Aigües de Barcelona participated in the Festival with a workshop for the general public to learn to differentiate raw water and drinking water. During the weekend, around 2,000 glasses of tap water were distributed to all those who approached us, including the Mayor of Barcelona, Xavier Trias, who did not want to miss the event.
Throughout the weekend, adults and children were able to enjoy workshops, experiments, interviews, exhibitions, storytelling, games and a great many activities with science, technology and innovation as the common thread. The Novum Festival converted the outside space of the Design Hub Barcelona into a veritable laboratory for everyone to experience science, technology and innovation first hand. From an underwater capsule to a planetarium, and including a reading space, an improvised astronomical observatory, an illustration workshop and numerous marquees and scientific challenges on street level.
This weekend’s festival forms part of the Science, Technology and Innovation Festival organized by the Culture Institute of Barcelona, with the aim of promoting creativity and innovation in the city. This festival’s activities will end on Thursday.
