The projects presented included Oasys, a revolutionary device for the family, sponsored by Aigües de Barcelona, and intended to promote healthy habits and sustainable development, in addition to redesigning the relationship between the water company and its domestic users.
10 start-ups and 10 projects with an ambitious shared objective: to make the world a better place. Today the Agbar Tower auditorium was the venue for the demo day of the startupbootcamp, the biggest start-up accelerator of Europe, which encourages entrepreneurship and advises start-ups devoted to improving the life of people.
Oasys was created from an initiative of the Imagine Creativity Center, in which 12 young people related to the sphere of innovation were selected, taking them to California for the month of July 2014, where they received training by experts from companies such as Google, Twitter and Facebook at Stanford University. The 12 young people, who in the programme were called dreamers, were taught skills and methods to develop an idea and transform it into a project.
Oasys, which arose from the idea of changing the relationship between the water company and its users, is a tactile device for the home in which each family member has an avatar and which shows the role of water in spheres such as health and food.
