The Director General of Aigües de Barcelona, Ignacio Escudero, and the Mayor of Viladecans, Carles Ruiz, signed the agreement this morning to implement an initiative which will be developed in the framework of the virtual platform Aulas Creativas, supervised by the artists Miguel Gallardo and Hanoch Piven.
The project is focused on young people between the age of 14 and 16, a key age at which boys and girls have to define their next academic and labour steps, but is also aimed at families, essential to achieve educational success. "They Are Specialists" is based on a model of educational support, in which the teachers help each of the pupils to discover their skills and talents, stressing and promoting what makes them unique with the aim of helping them to discover and follow their academic and professional path.
With this agreement, the Agbar Foundation again exemplifies its sensitivity toward educational projects committed to social sectors at risk of exclusion.
A project included in Aulas Creativas
“They Are Specialists" is developed in the framework of Aulas Creativas (www.aulascreativas.net), a virtual platform whose objective is to inspire educators in order to help them to encourage creativity in the classroom and which has over 35,000 followers throughout Spain and Latin America. With "They Are Specialists", which forms part of this platform, we want to take one more step, also promoting the talent of pupils.
